The Best Pet Friendly Hotels In Maine Beaches, United States Of America
Although dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, they are allowed in the lounge and on the deck, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are also served at these locations.
Dogs can walk on the beach in the off-season; during the high season, go for pleasant walks on the boardwalk or nearby protected areas. The inn is about 15 minutes from downtown Portland with a nice fenced dog park. While the lodge isn’t exactly cheap, especially in the summer, Â winter rates are much lower and Habitat for Humanity’s annual spring sale is everyone’s favorite.
Rodger Dodger is the official spokesman for the Harraseeket Inn, located a short distance from L.L. Bean, Freeport’s millions of outlets and all the action downtown.
Carriage House rooms and some two-bedroom townhouses are pet-friendly. A portion of the pet’s nightly fee is donated to the Coastal Humane Society, which is another bonus.

Bernie is very grateful to the Carriage House, where his dog-friendly room had a wet bar and a cozy fireplace for sleeping. There is also a dog bed, a small food jar, cleaning bags and bowls.
Another seaside gem, Sebasco is a family-owned 550-acre full-service resort that combines old-world charm with modern amenities. The resort has two restaurants, an outdoor saltwater pool, boat tours, a spa, a recreation room, and a nine-hole golf course.
Sebasco has three kennels. We stayed in the Dogwood, which had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchenette; perfect for Bernie. The complex’s extensive grounds offer many walking opportunities.
This is a particularly lovely family resort, so it’s great that all members of the family are welcome.
Inn By The Sea: Maine Resort Romance In Luxury!
I love Castine, a quiet New England coastal town with a rich history and outstanding architecture. Right in the middle of town is the charming Pentagoet Inn, a classic, yellow Queen Anne Victorian with a turret, wraparound porch and harbor views.
Most people don’t realize that next door to the inn is also an 18th century farmhouse that offers Pet Friendly rooms. All rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques, and a full breakfast is included (the inn is justifiably famous for its dining room and cozy pub).
Although you can’t bring your dog into the dining room, you can dine with him on the porch. The quiet streets of Castine invite you to stroll, and the signs describing the city’s turbulent past add interest. Or head to the Witherle Woods nature reserve for a woodland walk.
Wonder View is located on the former 14-acre estate of American Agatha Christie Mary Reinhart Roberts (credited with coining the phrase “butler made” and providing the inspiration for the Batman character). Port. and in the Porcupine Islands. It consists of four older motels on spacious grounds with grassy lawns and old shade trees, an outdoor pool and a restaurant with a pet-friendly terrace.

Simple cabins on the shores of a large lake make it easy for dogs to swim and play at Flying Eagle Lodge (formerly The Lakeside Country Inn and Cabins; this review is from The Lakeside). The rooms in the country house are pet-free, but the five one- and two-bedroom cottages are. Guests can use the docks, canoes and pedal boats for free. Motorboat rental and licenses available.
Bernie thought the fire pit would be a great place to hang out and roast marshmallows after a day at the upcoming Grand Lake Stream Folk Arts Festival. Unfortunately, after playing music all day, he (we?) was (we were) too exhausted to think about it.

With a name like Paws Inn, you know it’s dog friendly. Carolyn Bailey and her canine helpers equip their canine guests with beds or crates, lots of treats and lots of love.
Dogs can play in the fenced yard and in the 2,000 square meter barn. They are also allowed to stay in unsupervised rooms. Another plus: there is a dog sitting service.
Human guests enjoy a hearty continental breakfast and access to a refrigerator stocked with juice and water.

The rooms are on the second floor, so it may not be the best choice for dogs who have problems with stairs. The rooms have air conditioning and cable TV. The B & B is located on a hill 2 miles south of downtown Bethel, near the Sunday River and Mount Abrams. No credit cards.

Located in the city center, this guest house is distinguished by its spacious and generous public rooms.
